TL;DR

What you will do
- Define item definitions and perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA) for autonomous vehicle functions.
- Execute safety analyses including DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and DFA per IEC 61508 / ISO 26262 guidelines.
- Develop functional and technical safety requirements specifically for heavy truck systems.
- Design security controls for system-level requirements and coordinate security scope with distributed teams.
- Assess external supplier technology proposals against risk management design objectives.
- Maintain safety artifacts and support functional safety audits and assessments.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 standards.
- Experience in system engineering for control systems/architecture on autonomous trucks or passenger vehicles.
- Proficiency with ALM and System Modeling tools such as IBM DNG, IBM Rational Rhapsody, and IBM Rational Team Concert.
- Location: Must be based in Cairo, Egypt

- Familiarity with AGILE software development processes.
- Awareness of regulations affecting instrumentation, emissions, and board diagnostics.
