Software Reverse Engineer

What you will do

• Analyze and characterize hardware and software technologies in a reverse engineering laboratory.
• Experiment with low-level software and hardware mechanics.
• Use reverse engineering tools, emulators, compilers, and debugging environments.
• Develop knowledge of embedded systems and advanced analysis techniques.
• Work alongside senior engineers and contribute to critical national security missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of calculus-based mathematics and physics.
• Experience with software engineering principles, C/C++, Assembly, GCC, MSVC, Clang, QEMU, Visual Studio, GDB, OllyDbg, or WinDbg.
• Interest in reverse engineering and low-level software and hardware analysis.
• Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI clearance.
• Embedded systems development experience with C/C++ and Assembly.
• Experience developing and testing complex devices.
• Formal technical writing experience.
• Willingness to learn advanced analysis techniques and work with senior engineers.
