Manager, Digital & Tech - Plant & Automation

Location: Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, with occasional travel to Maastricht once per week and possible remote support for other European sites.

What you will do

• Support factory IT/OT solutions, maintain service levels and knowledge-base documentation, and participate in quarterly IT patching and SAP release weekends.
• Act as the primary local IS Plant contact for regional, affiliate, and domain-level matters.
• Shape and manage D&T and IT/OT factory project portfolios in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Maintain ITIL-based IT/OT asset management and keep site inventories up to date.
• Define and enforce software and infrastructure architecture standards with Engineering, IT Security, and Infrastructure teams.
• Support Industry 4.0 and other digital initiatives by identifying solutions, monitoring technology trends, and sharing technical expertise across sites.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including IT/OT support, operations, and light project work.
• Proven experience in manufacturing environments, including factory OT and process or batch industries.
• Strong adaptability, communication, independence, and self-motivation in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with completed IT/OT factory projects and a sound technical understanding, including ITEL technology.
• Good English language skills required; French is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MES, warehousing, and DCS is advantageous.
