What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python, FastAPI, and async patterns.
• Design and optimize LLM-driven pipelines for classification, risk assessment, and draft generation.
• Implement semantic search and vector retrieval using PostgreSQL and pgvector for legal precedent retrieval.
• Build and enhance frontend workflows, including dashboards and document browsers, using React and TypeScript.
• Manage secure authentication and authorization flows with Keycloak, OIDC, and JWT.
• Improve system observability through tracing, structured logging, and operational dashboards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and async frameworks like FastAPI.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or Anthropic).
• 3+ years of development experience with React and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with OAuth/OIDC/JWT authentication flows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure services (OpenAI, Document Intelligence, PostgreSQL, Container Apps).
• Knowledge of Docker, Docker Compose, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in legal-tech, financial services, or compliance-heavy domains.
