Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and build core authorization primitives including roles, policies, and fine-grained permission checks (RBAC/ReBAC).
• Implement authentication and SSO/OAuth/OIDC flows to ensure secure enterprise access.
• Ensure multi-tenant isolation to maintain strict data segregation for financial customers.
• Optimize permission checks for high-throughput environments processing millions of decisions daily.
• Develop audit and access-trail capabilities to meet strict compliance requirements like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Work across the full stack using React, TypeScript, and Python (FastAPI) on AWS serverless architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full-stack experience with React and TypeScript.
• Professional experience building backend services in Python (FastAPI), including REST APIs and databases.
• Experience integrating into AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Strong interest in security and access control (RBAC, SSO, OAuth/OIDC, multi-tenant permissions).
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication and AI interaction.
• Must be able to work from our Berlin, Iasi, or London offices in a hybrid capacity.

Nice to have

• Deeper backend specialization in async patterns, performance tuning, or data modeling.
• Experience with DynamoDB, Postgres, or SQLAlchemy.
• Hands-on experience with authorization systems like OpenFGA, Zanzibar, or OPA.
• Prior operations or on-call experience.
