What you will do

• Design cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and products to set industry standards.
• Conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes while resolving framework design weaknesses.
• Provide technical leadership to the application development team via design and code reviews.
• Ensure uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business requirements and project goals.
• Create and maintain documentation for software architecture, component integration, and testing guidelines.

Requirements

• Architectural experience of large customer change and transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of hardware and software, including connectivity between platforms.
• Location: Must be based in Tokyo, Japan

Nice to have

• The Open Group - Master Certified Architect (or equivalent).
• Prior hands-on experience working in a Mainframe environment (z/OS and IBM Software Products).
• Experience in Mainframe projects: Modernise On, Integrate With, and Move Off.
• Knowledge of 3rd party Mainframe software.
