What you will do

• Lead and mentor a squad of mainframe professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and technical excellence.
• Oversee service quality to ensure SLAs are met and consistently exceed customer expectations.
• Manage technical incidents, changes, and operational stability within production environments.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and squad outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into strategic technical opportunities.
• Act as the primary technical expert in the mainframe domain to guide and motivate the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of total experience in mainframe environments, specifically IBM z/OS, z/VM, or similar platforms.
• 2+ years of experience in technical coordination, service delivery leadership, or support team leadership.
• Strong expertise in monitoring, performance management, and batch operations for enterprise systems.
• Proven track record of managing incidents and escalations in mission-critical production environments.
• Must be based in Mexico City, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, CICS, DB2, and IMS.
• Knowledge of automation and batch scheduling frameworks such as Control-M.
• Experience working within highly regulated enterprise environments, such as banking or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
