What you will do

• Design and maintain Python CLI tools and shared domain libraries.
• Develop and extend hirify.global Ansible Collection modules for storage management.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, and release.
• Extend host and hypervisor integration across Linux, Windows, AIX, Solaris, and VMware.
• Build and improve AI-assisted exception triage pipelines.
• Manage multi-distribution build systems and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Python development focused on systems or CLI tooling.
• Enterprise storage background (block storage, NAS, replication, FC/iSCSI).
• Strong Linux proficiency (RHEL/Rocky, Ubuntu) with RPM and DEB packaging experience.
• Experience with Docker, Podman, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of remote host communication via SSH and WinRM.
• Strong written communication skills for async-first team operation.

Nice to have

• Ansible module/collection development and Galaxy publishing.
• Experience with competitor enterprise arrays (NetApp, Pure, EMC).
• Hypervisor integration (VMware ESX/vCenter, Hyper-V, Oracle Linux VM).
• Knowledge of SQLAlchemy or other Python ORMs.
• Experience with Podman quadlets and systemd service management.
