TL;DR
Senior IT Analyst Applications (Java): Developing and testing applications for the Reman business unit with an accent on technical specification authoring, SDLC management, and system integration. Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Woodbridge, ON, Canada (On-site 5 days/week)
Salary: $108,400 - $135,500

What you will do
- Develop and test applications supporting the Reman business unit.
- Collaborate with architects to design and implement technical solutions for business requirements.
- Author formal technical specifications and manage code development.
- Manage tickets and follow ITSM procedures using ServiceNow.
- Assist internal customers with documentation, training, and usability.
- Prepare artifacts for quarterly and semi-annual SOX audits.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week in Woodbridge, ON, Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT with 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Experience with SDLC processes, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with frontend technologies like JavaScript, NodeJS, or Angular.
- Knowledge of test-driven development and automated testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Playwright, Selenium).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with PL/SQL and database indexing.
