TL;DR

Lead Analyst Customer Applications Support (Aviation): Managing the end-to-end onboarding, implementation, and technical support of the Opti Flight solution for airline clients with an accent on flight dynamics, performance calculations, and pilot communication. Focus on investigating complex application issues, delivering technical project activities, and ensuring successful implementation of flight optimization tools.

Location: Montreal, Canada (Hybrid: up to 2 days/week work from home)

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end setup of the Opti Flight solution, from requirement gathering to final delivery.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for airline-specific incidents and application issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for end users, including pilots, and manage pilot communications.
  • Analyze implementation results and provide custom data analysis for airline clients.
  • Own technical project activities throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and global stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Flight Operations Engineering or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics Engineering or a related flight operations certification.
  • Proven experience in airline operations or with civil aviation authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of flight dynamics, operational skills (e.g., Cost Index), and performance calculations (EOSID, driftdown, depressurization).
  • Proficiency in Python or equivalent coding skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage technical discussions with pilots regarding operations and procedures.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of flight data and quality check processes.
  • Coding knowledge in Bash.
