TL;DR

Location: Hybrid - Must be based in Montreal, QC (presence in office required a few days a week)

What you will do
- Implement and execute the technical vision for animation development.
- Modify and improve rigs and perform model skinning for characters.
- Bring static characters to life by adding widgets, controllers, and bones.
- Optimize the integration and use of animations within Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with artists to ensure seamless animation integration.
- Deliver assigned tasks on time while communicating technical intentions to artistic teams.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work full-time in Canada, specifically in Québec, at the time of application.
- Ability to work 37.5 hours/week for 4 months starting in September 2026.
- Strong knowledge of rigging, skinning, integration, and 3D animation.
- Practical experience with Unreal Engine.
- Knowledge of UVs and the GameMesh optimization pipeline.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Maya.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Blender.
