What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-scale microservices and integration patterns for core backend solutions.
• Optimize high-availability, low-latency systems processing volume-heavy financial operations.
• Build and continuously evolve robust REST APIs.
• Manage end-to-end deployment workflows and CI/CD pipelines across containerized and non-containerized setups.
• Utilize a wide array of AWS services to support distributed architectures and event-driven data flows.
• Drive engineering excellence by incorporating AI agents and development assistants into daily workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Java and building resilient backend services.
• Practical knowledge of payment systems, specifically in acquiring or issuing domains.
• Experience developing high-availability, low-latency systems and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Proficiency with AWS infrastructure (Lambda, EKS, ECS, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in promotional environments or within acquirer processors.
• Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch and DMS.
