What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend architecture, services, and APIs for core financial products.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable server-side code with a focus on performance and security.
• Manage relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Refactor legacy code and adopt best practices to improve engineering standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in backend engineering for scalable applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
• Solid experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and message queue technologies.
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
• Experience with fintech, payment processing, or PCI DSS compliance.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in applying AI tools to development workflows.
