What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain the cloud networking foundation powering Aura (DBaaS) solutions.
- Collaborate with the cloud organization to shape and deliver a global roadmap for cloud networking.
- Tackle complex engineering challenges to directly influence platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Operate and scale software within a 24/7/365 SaaS environment across multiple cloud providers.
Requirements
- Must be based in London (Hybrid).
- Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud, AWS, and/or Azure.
- Strong proficiency in Go and experience building/operating software on Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Cloud Networking fundamentals, DNS, TLS, mTLS, SNI, and L4/L7 Proxies (Envoy).
- Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and Agile software development.
Nice to have
- Experience with Multi-Tenancy environments.
- Knowledge of GCP Private Service Connect or AWS/Azure PrivateLink.
- Ability to write Kubernetes Operators.
- Experience with Kubernetes internal networks such as Cilium, eBPF, Traefik, Calico, Linkerd, Istio, or Consul.
- Experience architecting for high availability and Kubernetes network security.
