Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant (NetSuite): Lead the transition from outsourced bookkeeping to internal financial operations with an accent on full-cycle accounting, global e-commerce data stabilization (Shopify, Amazon), and NetSuite automation. Focus on solving complex reconciliations and tax declaration workflows while supporting month-end closing, audits, and control procedures for data integrity.

What you will do

• Work alongside the Chief Accountant to move bookkeeping tasks from an external provider in-house.
• Own full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliations across global entities (sales, expenses, prepayments/accruals, bank transactions, AR/AP, FX).
• Identify gaps in data flow and propose structural fixes to improve accounting data integrity.
• Manage manual sales records (Shopify, Amazon) and drive automation into NetSuite.
• Prepare and manage monthly VAT, i.SAF, and local LT tax declarations (PIT, SODRA) and support month-end closing and internal reporting.
• Support financial statement preparation and annual statutory audit; after automation, help design and maintain control procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience across multiple accounting functions (not limited to only AP or payroll).
• Experience with NetSuite or other Tier 1 ERPs (e.g., Dynamics 365).
• Up-to-date knowledge of Lithuanian tax laws (VAT/i.SAF, PIT, SODRA).
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian (written and spoken).
• Comfort questioning existing processes and taking full responsibility for accounting ownership.
• Hybrid work in Vilnius (3 days in the office).
