Game Server Developer (iGaming)

hirify.global is a game studio and technology company creating premium slot games for the global iGaming market.

What you will do

• Collaborate with mathematicians, game producers, and client developers to create strong player experiences.
• Translate game design and mathematical specifications into clean, efficient game code.
• Develop and maintain casino game servers using an internal GDK based on a Node and TypeScript stack.
• Run simulation and unit tests to verify game behavior, mathematical accuracy, and statistical results.
• Create and maintain technical and use-case documentation for game servers.

Requirements

• At least 3.5 years of commercial experience with TypeScript and/or vanilla JavaScript ES6.
• Experience developing and unit-testing game servers for casino slot games.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, functional programming, and practical design patterns.
• Experience maintaining large codebases for long-term projects and a strong focus on clean code.
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD workflows.
• Good English and communication skills; the role is remote from Malta. Experience with React for basic visual prototypes is also required.
