Frontend Developer (iGaming)

Location: Montreal, Canada; hybrid role requiring presence in the office 4 days per week.

What you will do

• Create interactive online games for web and mobile devices using TypeScript.
• Work with proprietary game engine technology and design efficient game component architectures.
• Develop and update tools, features, and functionalities to expand game engine capabilities and optimize performance.
• Integrate animations and sound from the art team into games.
• Troubleshoot and debug games based on client and QA feedback.
• Analyze product requirements and provide technical insights into the required work.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in online game development.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience in the online gaming industry or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of the web or mobile ecosystem.
• Experience with client-server programming.
• Fluent French and English; communications are primarily in English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, multitask, work independently, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Skills in 3D programming with Unreal or Unity.
