What you will do

• Collaborate with the Chief Editor on manuscript selection and the editorial process.
• Commission and edit Reviews, Perspectives, and Comments for the journal.
• Champion the representation of social science research within the journal's scope.
• Liaise with research communities through institutional visits and conferences.
• Write content for the journal and assess new areas of research.

Requirements

• PhD in a field relevant to energy social sciences is essential.
• Strong track record in research related to energy policy, economics, or societal behavior.
• Excellent literary and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly absorb and evaluate new areas of scientific research.
• Must be available for a fixed-term contract until 31 January 2027.

Nice to have

• Postdoctoral research experience.
• Previous editorial experience in academic publishing.
