What you will do
- Design and implement the group Resilience Target Operating Model, embedding resilience principles across the end-to-end of service offerings.
- Operationalise resilience controls and processes to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute methodologies for Important Business Service framework requirements, including service identification, service mapping, and impact tolerance setting.
- Support resilience governance, including oversight of policy implementation, compliance, and escalation/decision-making for resilience and underlying operational risk.
- Create and drive metrics, KPIs, and reporting on asset dependencies (technology, data, suppliers) and perform “so what?” analysis to prioritise remediation.
- Represent the Group in regulatory and industry meetings and conduct peer-to-peer benchmarking.
Requirements
- Strategic alignment of resilience initiatives with enterprise goals and regulatory mandates.
- Expertise in risk assessment and scenario planning for operational risks, including cyber, third-party, and systemic risks.
- Experience with service mapping and defining acceptable disruption thresholds (impact tolerance).
- Deep regulatory knowledge of FCA, PRA, DORA, and Basel principles for operational resilience.
- Proven ability to oversee third-party/outsourcing risks and ensure resilience across vendor ecosystems.
- Leadership and cross-functional influence across Risk, Technology, Third Party Risk Management, and business divisions.
