What you will do

• Conduct proactive internal control assessments to validate effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
• Lead responses to audits, regulatory assessments, and compliance reviews by providing accurate technical evidence.
• Translate complex security concepts into clear narratives for auditors, risk managers, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure cyber risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated through effective control design.
• Identify gaps in existing controls and documentation, recommending improvements to control owners.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK.
• Proven experience in a technical audit role assessing controls within highly regulated global organizations.
• Strong understanding of common security technologies, threats, frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid grasp of risk management principles and experience with GRC tooling platforms.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to challenge assertions and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in automating control monitoring, analysis, and evidence collection.
