Location: Leuven, Belgium (Hybrid work model available)

What you will do
- Develop and implement cryptographic algorithms based on technical specifications.
- Manage the full development lifecycle including coding, testing, code reviews, and releases.
- Collaborate with innovation, architecture, and hardware teams to integrate security subsystems.
- Work on advanced security countermeasures against side-channel and fault attacks.
- Contribute to diverse projects across payment, identification, and edge processing domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience or a Master/PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, or Cryptography.
- Proficiency in embedded software development using C and Assembly.
- Experience or strong interest in cryptographic algorithm development (e.g., DES, AES, RSA, ECC, SHA).
- Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V platforms.
- Ability to work effectively within an international development team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography.
- Experience with hardware and software security countermeasures.
