Intelligence Intern (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Intelligence Intern (Cybersecurity): Supporting the Counter Adversary Operations team by collecting and analyzing data from the cybercriminal underground with an accent on automated pipeline development and open-source research. Focus on extracting actionable insights from unstructured datasets to enhance security and privacy for global customers.

Location: Must be based in the USA (Remote)

Compensation: $28–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Support data collection activities across multiple sources and methods.
• Build and maintain automated collection pipelines using APIs and web scraping.
• Configure and manage collection tooling for efficient data acquisition.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis on cybersecurity topics.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver actionable intelligence.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year University program (graduating in 2027 or 2028).
• Must be based in the USA for the duration of the internship.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or R.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Functional or professional fluency in Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Arabic, or Farsi.
• Ability to work 10-20 hours per week during standard business hours.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSINT tooling and methodologies.
• Experience with deep and dark web interaction.
• Coursework in data warehousing or database systems.
• Familiarity with command line tools.
