TL;DR
Norwegian Language Specialist – AI Trainer (Norwegian linguistics and AI): Training and evaluating language models through Norwegian grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, pragmatics, and dialect analysis with an accent on Bokmål and Nynorsk distinctions, regional variation, and formal and informal registers. Focus on conversing with models, documenting reproducible failure modes, verifying factual and logical accuracy, and improving prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Location: Remote, Denmark

Salary: $8–$65 per hour, depending on experience, expertise, and geographic location.

What you will do

  • Challenge advanced language models with Norwegian language scenarios.
  • Evaluate grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, pragmatics, and factual accuracy.
  • Analyze Bokmål and Nynorsk distinctions, regional dialects, and formal and informal registers.
  • Document reproducible model failure modes and error traces.
  • Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Requirements

  • Norwegian language expertise, including grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics.
  • Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain reasoning.
  • Experience with linguistic analysis, teaching, or related research.
  • A master's or PhD in Norwegian language, linguistics, or a closely related field is ideal.
  • Must be located in Denmark.
