What you will do

• Perform audit activities covering risk management, operational effectiveness, and financial reliability.
• Assist in defining audit scope and developing annual plans aligned with global audit objectives.
• Analyze accounting documentation, data, and process flowcharts to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports and findings memoranda.
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of management interventions.
• Engage in continuous professional development regarding best practices and auditing standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of proven professional experience as an Internal Auditor.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and database management.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel for work (approximately 40% of the time).

• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA.
