IT Security Analyst

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Tennessee, USA. Role requires CST working hours and the ability to work onsite at corporate or client offices as necessary.

What you will do

• Monitor and respond to information security issues across systems and business workflows.
• Administer and maintain security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Utilize SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools to identify and assess security risks.
• Coordinate incident response activities including containment, remediation, and reporting.
• Partner with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to manage security vulnerabilities and risk exposures.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in an IT role with 3 years of IT Security experience.
• Must be able to work CST hours.
• Experience with anti-malware, EDR/XDR platforms, and threat hunting.
• Solid skills with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of network traffic analysis (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloud Security and Microsoft 365 security.
• Direct experience using scripting languages for automation.
• Experience in the Healthcare industry.
