What you will do

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures on AWS using a serverless-first approach.
• Build and maintain production-ready serverless APIs and event-driven workflows.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Amazon ECS on Fargate.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation to ensure environment parity.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
• Architect secure AWS environments leveraging IAM, VPC networking, and encryption best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on expertise with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions in production.
• Strong experience with AWS CloudFormation and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep container expertise with Docker and ECS Fargate.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash.
• Security+ or higher certification required.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or higher required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TS security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Knowledge of API security patterns like OAuth/OIDC and WAF.
• Experience with secrets management and key management (KMS).
• Familiarity with policy-as-code and governance frameworks.
• Background in regulated environments requiring audit evidence.
