Staff Software Engineer (Embedded)

What you will do

• Lead complex technical initiatives across Android, RTOS, and embedded software domains.
• Drive architecture, design, and implementation decisions for critical vehicle camera systems.
• Work hands-on in code, debugging, and integration to resolve high-impact technical issues.
• Partner with engineering leaders, architects, and global stakeholders to align technical strategy.
• Raise engineering standards through design reviews, code quality, and technical mentorship.
• Translate organizational needs into practical technical plans and measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Over 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience in complex production systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C.
• Significant experience with Android and/or RTOS-based systems in production.
• Proven track record of driving technical outcomes across multiple teams through influence.
• Experience working in large-scale, cross-site, cross-functional software organizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, camera systems, or computer vision pipelines.
• Familiarity with Android platform internals, middleware, or BSP/system bring-up.
• Experience with resource-constrained or real-time environments.
• M.Sc. or other advanced technical degree.
