What you will do

• Design and develop backend services and microservices in Go for near real-time data processing and analytics.
• Build and maintain production APIs to integrate platform components with downstream systems.
• Own production services end-to-end, ensuring reliability, performance, observability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product stakeholders, and data teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities.
• Contribute to cloud-native solution design and deployment within AWS environments.
• Improve system architecture, engineering practices, and service performance; participate in design discussions, code reviews, and ADRs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building backend applications and distributed systems using Go.
• Strong system design and software engineering fundamentals (code quality, testing, maintainability).
• Proven experience designing and building production APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience owning and supporting production services (monitoring, troubleshooting, operational improvements).
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Basic proficiency in TypeScript and ability to contribute to service integrations when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code approaches, including Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments or SDK development.
• Java development experience and willingness to contribute to Java-based services when needed.
