Senior App Engineer - Purchase & Post Purchase (Flutter)

Location: Hamburg or Berlin, Germany

Compensation: €70,000–€85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Build and ship high-impact purchase and post-purchase features for the AY mobile app using Dart and Flutter.
• Develop new app components and complex frontend logic.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, product managers, QA specialists, and designers.
• Identify and resolve technical debt.
• Build internal tools that improve team productivity.
• Contribute to team processes through regular agile retrospectives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of programming experience, including at least 1 year of app development experience.
• Extensive experience with Dart and Flutter.
• Strong expertise in UI development and complex frontend logic.
• Ability to write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Commitment to maintaining codebase quality.

Nice to have

• Design awareness and close collaboration with designers.
• Familiarity with gRPC and Go in a shop backend environment.
• Expertise in UI and animation development.
