Salary: $103,000 - $129,000

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve issues impacting payroll runs, taxes, benefits, and reporting.
• Ensure accurate data flow between Bob and payroll systems/integrations.
• Advise customers on payroll configurations and best practices.
• Troubleshoot US payroll compliance and workflows.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on payroll-related enhancements.
• Identify misconfigurations and recommend system guardrails.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical support experience with Payroll platforms, HRIS, or HR SaaS.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems, data flows, and business processes.
• Experience with APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts for data analysis.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for complex enterprise customer issues.
• Must be based in the US (specific authorized states only).

Nice to have

• CPP, FPC, or equivalent payroll certifications.
• Experience with multi-state payroll or Benefits Administration products.
• Basic scripting or HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
