What you will do

• Design, implement, and improve behavior and motion planning features.
• Own planning projects from initial problem definition through to deployment.
• Debug autonomy behavior using logs, simulation, metrics, and real-world data.
• Balance safety, comfort, progress, and operational constraints within the autonomy system.
• Collaborate across Prediction, Controls, Perception, ML, Simulation, and Safety teams.
• Define success metrics and validation plans for planning features.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Extensive experience in behavior planning, motion planning, or robotics.
• Strong software engineering skills with production-quality C++.
• Experience building autonomy software in industrial or production environments.
• Ability to debug complex robotics behavior using logs and simulation.
• Strong system-level judgment regarding safety and deployment readiness.
