Salary: $161,000 – $215,000

What you will do

• Establish and lead the Autonomous Vehicles (L4-5) vertical, defining engagement strategies for enterprise customers.
• Design and deploy ML solutions using hirify.global’s AI platform, including Monolith, Marimo, and W&B Models.
• Build and iterate on customer-facing applications tailored to specific AV engineering use cases.
• Synthesize signals from real-world deployments to inform the development of standalone product capabilities.
• Manage complex technical customer engagements and maintain executive-level relationships.
• Contribute to the wider Field Engineering team’s Physical AI knowledge framework.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in AV systems development, perception engineering, motion planning, or AI/ML for L4-5 systems.
• Deep expertise in AV sensor modalities (camera, LiDAR, radar) and handling long-tail distribution/edge cases.
• Hands-on ML capability to build, validate, and deploy solutions independently using Python.
• Proficiency with JupyterHub, VS Code, Marimo, and W&B Models for building applications.
• Must be a U.S. person or eligible for export control authorization.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and SOTIF.
• Experience with simulation environments like CARLA or LGSVL.
• Familiarity with edge deployment of ML models in safety-critical environments.
• Track record of contributing to technical publications or industry forums in the AV space.
