What you will do

• Design, develop, and support clinical trial software with a focus on patient safety and data integrity.
• Review product requirements and create comprehensive technical design and implementation documentation.
• Code software applications, fix defects, and ensure high unit testing coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
• Manage software deployment across all environments and maintain required documentation.
• Partner with the support team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Deep, hands-on experience with Python in production systems.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to design and support software modules of medium to high complexity.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django and Angular.
• Exposure to AI tools and a curiosity to experiment with technologies like Claude Code.
