What you will do

• Design and implement real-time embedded platform and application software for flagship products.
• Develop drivers for proprietary and 3rd party ASICs, FPGAs, and other hardware components.
• Create hardware/software interfaces to bridge various abstraction layers.
• Implement fault and alarm subsystems to detect, report, and manage defects.
• Build SDKs to facilitate platform application development and integration.
• Analyze system logs and performance metrics for optimization.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar disciplines.
• Experience with C or C++.
• Must be available for a 4-month co-op starting September 2026.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI Agents such as Claude or Copilot.
• Understanding of RTOS, Linux system logging, and embedded systems development.
• Proficiency with software tools like git, BitBucket, Gerrit, and Jira.
• Experience with unit test frameworks (Google Test, PyTest) and debuggers (gdb).
• Knowledge of high-level scripting languages such as Python, Java, Perl, or bash.
