Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Alexandria, VA (Hybrid position)

Salary: $170,000 - $210,000 Annually

What you will do

• Assist in drafting and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and federal compliance documentation.
• Monitor ACAS scans and collaborate with infrastructure teams to remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Manage and track Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to address security gaps.
• Implement and tailor security controls based on DISA STIG checklists.
• Coordinate with Coast Guard Cyber Command (CGCYBER) for operational readiness and data calls.
• Support contingency plan testing and change management processes.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I Certification (e.g., Security+, CAP, GSLC)
• Practical experience with ACAS for vulnerability scanning
• Hands-on experience with SIEM systems and XDR platforms
• Direct experience navigating eMASS for compliance and risk management
• Strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process

Nice to have

• Experience supporting USCG or DHS cybersecurity programs
• Advanced IAM Level II/III certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CASP+)
• Participation in formal federal security audits or CORA assessments
