What you will do

• Ensure company compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements through independent research and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the EVP, Regulatory Counsel to develop effective compliance solutions to business challenges.
• Develop compliance solutions within the Encompass Loan Operating System (LOS).
• Develop and maintain the Mavent Compliance Guide to support loan origination operations.
• Review and amend internal policies and procedures as regulatory requirements evolve.
• Report critical matters and provide strategic recommendations to the EVP, Regulatory Counsel.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking industry.
• At least 1 year in a compliance-focused role, preferably within mortgage lending.
• Working knowledge of consumer mortgage lending laws: TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, ECOA, and HMDA.
• Experience working with a loan operating system, preferably Encompass.
• Must be based in the USA.
