What you will do

• Develop and maintain AWS Glue jobs for data ingestion into Lakehouse Bronze layers.
• Implement loading strategies including CDC, full loads, delta loads, and snapshots.
• Build robust, scalable, and reusable ETL pipelines using PySpark.
• Optimize Glue jobs through effective partitioning, parallelization, and resource allocation.
• Automate deployments via CI/CD pipelines using Git and Terraform.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and produce technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Proven track record building ETL and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with Lakehouse architectures and Medallion design principles.
• Proficiency with AWS S3, Athena, and Lambda.
• Knowledge of Git, Terraform, and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data quality frameworks.
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira.
