What you will do
- Design and evolve the platform’s canonical data model and entity resolution capabilities.
- Architect and implement scalable data ingestion, synchronization frameworks, and processing pipelines.
- Define and implement data governance, lineage, and provenance standards.
- Drive architectural decisions related to scalability, resiliency, security, and operability.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define the platform roadmap.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Data Engineer.
- Expert proficiency in Java.
- Hands-on experience with stream processing technologies (Apache Beam, Spark, Flink, or Kafka Streams).
- Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, preferably GCP.
- Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS platforms and event-driven architectures.
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Scala or Cloud Spanner.
- Background in Master Data Management (MDM) or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
- Experience migrating large-scale legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
- Domain experience in education technology or enterprise integration.
