What you will do

  • Design, architect, and develop scalable, robust software systems and algorithms for autonomous robots.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for perception, planning, control, and navigation.
  • Integrate software components with robotic hardware and conduct testing and debugging in real-world scenarios.
  • Lead technical problem-solving through code reviews, mentoring, and ownership of complex engineering challenges.
  • Collaborate with roboticists, hardware engineers, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to plan and deliver robotics projects.
  • Document architectures and implementations, prepare technical references, and contribute to research publications and presentations.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience developing software for robotics systems, including at least 5 years of experience with deployed robotics software.
  • Strong programming skills in C++.
  • Deep understanding of robotics principles, algorithms, and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with robotic simulation environments and tools.
  • Knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, control theory, software engineering principles, and design patterns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related data-centric discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.

  • Practical experience developing mobile robot navigation for real-world deployment.
