What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable IT solutions for insurance and annuity platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Uphold coding standards, system architecture, and performance optimization best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and resolve complex technical issues.
• Influence strategic technical direction and application portfolio planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or senior developer role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, .NET, SQL, DB2, SSIS, C#, or COBOL.
• Experience with system architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
• Experience integrating AI services into applications.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices and model governance.
