What you will do
- Design modular Python-based automation and analysis frameworks used across all product programs.
- Integrate bench instruments and custom fixtures using SCPI/VISA, serial, USB, GPIB, and Ethernet.
- Develop robust bare-metal and RTOS firmware for MCU-based validation fixtures.
- Build Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs and integrate them into CI pipelines for automated regression tracking.
- Implement and debug hardware communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and CAN.
- Capture and surface critical measurement data via databases and dashboards to drive design decisions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience building bench automation, HIL rigs, or characterization tooling for physical hardware.
- Strong proficiency in Python automation (e.g., pytest) and instrument control via SCPI/VISA.
- Experience writing embedded C/C++ for ARM Cortex-M in bare-metal and RTOS environments.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD interfaces.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Paris
Nice to have
- Experience in drone/UAV development, RF/radio systems, or telecommunications hardware.
- Prior experience deploying CI-integrated HIL testing systems.
- Experience working with ruggedized, military, or industrial-grade hardware.
