What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and components using Java.
• Contribute to the unification and evolution of enterprise data platform ecosystems.
• Analyze existing applications, data flows, and dependencies to support migration into the target platform.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams across a large organizational structure.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in distributed systems.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining backend services and APIs.
• Proficiency with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Must be based in Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with data platforms, data integration, or data-heavy environments.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
