What you will do

• Design and develop REST APIs and microservices using Java and modern frameworks.
• Implement business logic following microservices architecture principles.
• Define and apply versioning, security, error handling, and API governance standards.
• Integrate services with legacy systems and internal/external platforms.
• Perform code reviews and participate in CI/CD processes and deployments.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior and mid-level professionals.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (8–17+) and Spring Boot (Web, Data, Security).
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and REST APIs (JSON).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools: Maven, Git (Bitbucket/GitHub), Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Experience with containers and platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Must be based in Mexico.
