What you will do

• Design and build scalable web applications and backend services for player protection systems.
• Develop internal moderation tools, telemetry dashboards, and operational workflows.
• Create APIs and platform services that integrate with live-service gaming ecosystems.
• Contribute to cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, GCP, and AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, security, and game studios.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of software engineering experience through professional work, internships, or projects.
• Proficiency with modern frontend technologies like React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing backend services or APIs using Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in San Diego.

Nice to have

• Experience with live-service gaming platforms or scalable applications.
• Interest in AI-assisted moderation and safety workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development.
