What you will do

• Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard for healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and/or NodeJS to retrieve and transform EDI healthcare records.
• Develop and support an Angular-based front-end to ensure accurate data surfacing for business and clinical users.
• Collaborate with .NET and AWS engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery.
• Perform unit and integration testing and support production monitoring on AWS.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices within an Agile framework.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus (Java and/or NodeJS).
• Hands-on experience with Angular and building RESTful APIs that consume XML and JSON data.
• Experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Nice to have

• Experience with X.12 medical claims (837, 834, 277, etc.).
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Section 508/WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Familiarity with C#/.Net back-end services.
