What you will do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Electron and hirify.global to enhance developer productivity, OS-level stability, and security.
• Contribute to key architectural decisions for frontend and desktop infrastructure to support new product features.
• Navigate technical ambiguity by identifying and solving complex problems like framework migrations and rendering bottlenecks.
• Maintain and improve core systems powering the hirify.global desktop client and Electron-based infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers across the organization, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive consensus and solve strategically important initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience writing client-side code (React + TypeScript) for modern web applications at scale.
• Deep expertise in Google's Chromium project or significant contributions to large-scale open source projects.
• Proven experience working in a large-scale, shared codebase with hundreds of contributors.
• Strong background in building complex systems and leading technical design.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align technical infrastructure with business goals.
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools for web-based desktop applications.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to engineering reputation via blog posts, conferences, or open source.
• Experience developing on Windows and maintaining build infrastructure for Windows desktop applications.
