What you will do

• Provide strategic direction and full management accountability for a diverse global team of managers and subject-matter experts.
• Translate enterprise strategy into actionable functional plans and lead business planning cycles.
• Ensure integration of medical strategy into brand planning and cross-functional decision-making.
• Oversee large budgets and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI and strategic alignment.
• Shape and enforce functional policies, governance structures, and standard operating models.
• Anticipate regulatory hurdles and adapt functional strategies to protect and advance the business.

Requirements

• MD qualification preferred, or PharmD/PhD with strong therapeutic expertise.
• Proven experience in a Global Medical Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Extensive experience managing large, globally distributed teams with full performance accountability.
• Track record of executing departmental business plans in complex, highly regulated global environments.
• Relevant certifications in clinical research, medical affairs, or pharmaceutical medicine (e.g., FFPM).
• Experience in Respiratory or Pain Management is highly desirable.
