Operations Associate (Startup Accelerator)

Operations Associate (Startup Accelerator): Supporting the day-to-day execution of the hirify.global Tokyo Accelerator program with an accent on program logistics, participant experience, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on optimizing internal workflows, managing events and workshops, and ensuring a high-quality lifecycle for globally ambitious founders.

Location: Hybrid; must currently live in the Tokyo area

Salary: Up to ¥400,000/month

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day program operations, including schedules, documentation, and logistics.
• Coordinate events, workshops, and mentor meetings both in-person and virtually.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for founders, mentors, and partners.
• Support and continuously improve internal processes, systems, and workflows.
• Track and analyze program metrics and operational data to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in operations, program coordination, or project management.
• Strong organizational skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Native speaker of either Japanese or English, and conversational in the other.
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
• Must currently live in the Tokyo area.

Nice to have

• Experience working with startups, accelerators, venture capital, or innovation programs.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, Slack, or Salesforce.
• Interest in the global startup ecosystem and emerging technologies.
