What you will do

• Support the development and maintenance of orthopedic implants and instruments through design, testing, and analysis.
• Create, define, and execute test methods, protocols, and reports for product verification and validation.
• Apply engineering problem-solving for material selection, inspection requirements, and manufacturing processes.
• Design tooling and fixturing necessary for executing testing assignments.
• Prepare technical documentation for regulatory submissions and design history files.
• Coordinate with outside test facilities and provide guidance on Design of Experiments (DOE).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of product testing experience (internships or research assistant roles included).
• Strong theoretical knowledge of DOE, materials testing (static, fatigue, wear, impact), and mechanics of materials.
• Proficiency in CAD applications, statistical software, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Gainesville, FL
