What you will do
- Handle the full SDLC including R&D, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Lead and coordinate development for specific application modules and database designs.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other developers through code reviews and mentorship.
- Develop Restful APIs utilizing XML and JSON for system integration.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiencies within the product development cycle.
- Perform system troubleshooting, debugging, and support for internal system users.
Requirements
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- 2-3 years of experience in systems design and software implementation.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL, alongside HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience working with CodeIgniter and MVC architecture.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Solid understanding of GIT, Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Static Code Security tools.
- Familiarity using AI tools for coding help, documentation, or automation.
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices, such as OWASP Top Ten.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests (xUnit or similar).
